Rica Polish: Hanukkah 2015 Collection!

Hi everyone!!

I have been receiving quite a few nail polishes these past couple of weeks. Unfortunately I have a lot going on right now that I am way behind on posting. I am trying to write a lot of blog posts so that I don't leave any behind!

Today I have Rica's most recent collection, the Hannukkah Collection! This collection consists of 4 beautiful polishes. It is also available NOW! All of these polishes were topped with Glossy Glam fast drying topcoat by Rica!

First up is Challah Back a light copper linear holographic polish. I literally have nothing like this in my collection. The holo is so amazing! It's so festive!

This is Gimmel All Your Lovin' is a medium blue holographic polish with tiny glitters that are dark blue, light blue holo, and silver holo. This polish dries semi textured but with some Glossy Glam topcoat, everything was good!  I really like the little extra detail in the polish, those glitters are wonderful and not overwhelming!

I've Gotta Whole Latke Love is a microglitter polish packed with dark blue, light blue and silver microglitters. Full opacity can be achieved in 2-3 coats. This polish does dry textured but once again, Glossy Glam did the trick to smooth this out!  This polish is so shiny! It doesn't look thick at all! I recommend you sponge on the polish so you can get an even application.

Last but not least, You're My Gelty Pleasure a gold linear holographic polish. You'll definitely need some sunglasses for this one! It's so shiny!! If you like holo you'll definitely looooooveeeee this!!

If you're looking for something festive I definitely think these will get you in that festive mood, especially the holos! Which one was your favorite from this collection?!

Until next time,

BornPrettyStore Stamper Review

Hello everyone,

If you have been following me for a while you may know that I have recently gotten into stamping. BornPrettyStore contacted me to do a review on some of their products and I chose two of their stampers. I wanted to test them out because they are at a really good price and I wanted to see if they were worth it!

I already had a rectangular holder but the original stamper head it came with was HORRIBLE so I decided to request a replacement head for it.

The reason I chose the stamper kit was because of this handle! This handle is sooooo easy to grasp. I have no difficulty holding it and it easy to grab when I am trying to stamp.

I will first review the round stamper, the one with the awesome handle. This stamper is not super squishy or sticky. It is flexible enough to curve around your nail.

I don't have a picture of the first time I stamped with it but lets just say I needed to prime it. Priming is a super simple task. Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and rub your stamper head with it. Once you're done, clean the stamper with some tape or lint roller. Then you are free to stamp!

This is what my first attempts looked like once the stamper was primed. It picked up the image pretty well but I also noticed that it needed to spend a bit more time priming it so it could continue picking up the image a bit more clear.

Next is the rectangular replacement head I received. It is soooooooo squishy and pretty sticky! I also had to prime the stamper head before using it. This is how the images picked up. I did not use any stamping polishes for this! I used regular everyday nail polish since I have more color variations.

Overall, the rectangular replacement head was my favorite one. It was very squishy and sticky! I did enjoy the handle from the round stamper. It's amazing!

Which one did you like?

Bliss Polish- It's All Fun and Games Pt. 2

Hello everyone!

Today I will be sharing some swatches of the It's all Fun and Games pt. 2 Collection by Bliss Polish. A while back I posted a review on the first part of the It's All Fun and Games collection. I seriously loved that collection so much! Unfortunately, in order to make more room for many more collections the Bliss Boss has decided to discontinue this collection along with part 2. This coming Monday 11/30 will be the final restock for pt 1 and pt 2! In addition to the restock there will be a new collection and a discount code offered for that day! If you are interested in pt 1 or pt 2 then I highly recommend you follow Blisspolish on instagram so you can know what time these items will be restocked.

Ok so here is part 2. This collection consists of 2 holos and 2 crellies!

First up are the holos of the collection! This is Raise The Stakes a light pink metallic holo. My camera totally freaked out and didn't know whether to capture the pink or the holo. As you can tell the holo is VERY intense. This polish was a bit sheer and required 3-4 coats but did not seem to look clumpy or thick with 4 coats. Isn't it beautiful?!

Next is "A-Game" a subtle duo chrome with a pearly finish. This polish was super hard to capture! In the macro shot it looks slightly gray then it looks purple. This one also applied sheer but after 4 coats it was opaque. This is a very unique color and also very fun! I like seeing how the color shifts with different lighting!

This is Ringer, a pastel lavender crelly with multi chrome and gold flakies. I am so in love with this finish! It reminds me of dragon eggs. I am hoping that Yvette (Bliss Polish) makes more of these because I will totally buy them all!

Last but not least is For The Win, a light grey crelly with purple shimmer and gold micro flakies. To be honest this one was not on my list to purchase. I really am not into grays but OHHHHH myyyy gosh. This is so beautiful! I don't even think my pictures do it justice. I am so glad I decided to purchase it. I think this one is my favorite from the collection. It's so glossy and the flakies really stand out.

I decided to do some nail art with these polish to keep it from just being a swatch review.  Of course, polishes look different on me. Sometimes they look darker or lighter due to my skin color. If you're still iffy about this collection check out more swatches on Instagram: Bliss Polish  it seriously is worth it!

Here is some simple nail art but to be honest is was also my favorite!

Until next time,

Stardust Polish- November Releases

Hello everyone!

Here is another wonderful collection that will be releasing on November 13th! If you're not part of the Stardust Polish Facebook group or part of the Stardust Polish Newsletter then I high recommend you get on it! By joining the group you get special sneak peeks and get to enter in giveaways! By joining the newsletter you get sneak peeks and discounts for all new polishes!

Stardust Polish will be releasing 5 new polishes this month. There is a bit of everything in this release holo, shimmer, crelly! (BTW my laptop will sometimes autocorrect crelly to cruelly)

This first polish is called Water Lilies, a teal crelly filled with various shape and size purple and garnet glitters. This reminds me so much of Monsters Ink, Sully. It is such a beautiful polish. Drema definitely made me fall in love with crellies!

This polish will be available Nov. 13th for $12.00 plus shipping.

Next up is Poppies, a medium pink creme with slight gold shimmer. This is a bright pink polish. It definitely is something different from your usual dark fall/winter polishes. The gold shimmer adds such a sweet effect! It is more visible in person :D

This polish will be available Nov. 13th for $10.00 plus shipping.

Stardust, a light dove grey linear holo with purple flash. I seriously was staring at my nails for the longest time just looking at the amazing shift of color. Check out the third picture it's a lot more accurate. That holo, that shift, that color! All so amazing!

This polish will be available Nov. 13th for $12.00 plus shipping.

Now for the holos, this is Medusa a wine color holo and gold shimmer polish. I cannot get enough of this! It's so beautiful! At first I though it looked like a couple others I have in my stash. Once I swatched it I was amazed at how different it was. The gold shimmer changes the look of the polish and gives it a slightly different tone of purple.

This polish will be available Nov. 13th for $12.00 plus shipping.

Lastly is Starry Night, an Indigo (leans both purple and blue depending on the lighting) linear holo with a bit of copper shimmer and a dusting of micro fine holo glitter for extra sparkle. I think I am getting repetitive here but as I am staring at these swatches I fall more and more in love with how amazing each polish is. The holo glitter adds a good unf to the look of this polish. Once again, another unique polish.

This polish will be available Nov. 13th for $12.00 plus shipping.

Which one was your favorite?!?

Make sure to check out Stardust Polish! There are a lot of cool things she is coming out with!

Until next time,
