Nails Redesigned Vinyl and Mani Bomb Review

Hello everyone!

I have been sucking this month with blog posts but I have soooo much to share, new brands, new polishes, new everything! But first...Lets talk nail vinyls! Who doesn't love them? They are so much fun and so easy to work with. I think they are just great for easy nail art! I remember when I first tried nail vinyls and I had no idea what a topcoat was. Every time I applied them I would peel off the polish because I never used a topcoat. I HIGHLY recommend you use a fast drying topcoat such as SecheVite or HK Girl.

This is my second review of Nails Redesigned you can find the first one HERE. Like always, most of the items shown here will have direct links. Nails Redesigned has a new website and a NEW hand care line called Calm Your Tips Hand Care. Super creative name right?!

I also apologize ahead of time I forgot to jot down which polishes I used. I will try my best to remember them though.

Ok! Shall we start? For this mani I used these square swirls that I could not find a link for. These were so easy to use!

I think I have said this before but it's best to sponge on the polish than to just paint over the vinyls. This way it is least likely to leak through and mess up your base.

For this mani I used:
  • The Vinyls, of course
  • China Glaze Petal to the Metal
  • China Glaze Thistle Do Nicely
  • China Sun of a Peach

These vinyls were probably one of my favorites from the pack. There is so much you can do we these! You can make each diamond a different color, all one color, or a gradient like I did!

For this mani I used:
  • Vinyls, Fishnet Shield
  • China Glaze Highlight of My Summer
  • China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle

For this mani I used:

For this mani I used:
  • Vinyls, (could not find link)
  • Color Club Eternal Beauty
  • Color Club Blue Heaven
  • Color Club Cloud Nine

For this mani I used:

  • Vinyls, Could not find link
  • China Glaze DJ Blue My Mind

This is part of the Hand Care line. This Mani Bomb smelled AMAZING!! I swear when I opened the packaged that's all I could smell. The mani bomb was pretty hard to remove from the baggy so I ripped it open and it went flying. It hit my countertop then bounced and landed on the floor. Did it break? NOPE! It was still in tact after it went flying! I'm impressed

I did not take a picture of my nails because they looked a bit beat up but they smelled amazing afterwards and my cuticles were soft and the blue stains around my nails from a previous nail polish were gone. My favorite part was seeing how milky the water looked after the mani bomb dissolved.

This is after it hit my table and the floor! No dents!

Overall what do you think? Are you a fan of nail vinyls?! Make sure to check out Nails Redesigned awesome vinyls and awesome nail care goodies!

Rica Golden Girls Collection and Cuticle Oil Review

Hello everyone!

Last month I was able to post quite a few blog posts. Yay! I will try my best to post at least 1 or 2 a week. I recently started a new job and i'm still trying to adjust to it so I haven't really been in the mood to do nail art. I do love to just slap on some polish so I may have a lot more swatches during the month of September.

Today I will be sharing with you 3 out 6 polishes from the Golden Girls Collection created by Rica. Rica is an indie maker that makes amazing polishes, stamping polishes, a great fast drying topcoat, cuticle oil and things for your body! There's a little something something for everyone in her shop.  These polishes were sent to me for swatching purposes so I decided to write a blog about them! Hope you enjoy!

Shady Pines Ma,
is a dense glitter polish that dries textured

For this polish I sponged on 3 coats and applied 2 coats of Gelous and 1 coat of nail polish. I was actually very surprised with this polish. It's such a beautiful emerald green. I can't say I have anything like this in my collection.

is a light/neutral taupe linear holographic polish.

This looks a bit white to me but also gray. I think my eyes are tricking me! I actually really liked that it didn't wash out my skin color which I have found that most neutral colors do. The application was smooth and was opaque in 2-3 coats. Isn't it gorgeous?!

is a turquoise holographic polish.

This was also such an easy color to work with, opaque in 2-3 coats. This is such a bright turquoise! I really like this color! I think overall I was excited about the whole collection. The colors are so beautiful!

I actually have this on my cuticles right now as I type this. I tested this cuticle oil out for a week.

I normally don't go to sleep after I apply cuticle oil but my cuticles were so dry that I decided to leave it on for the night. When I woke up it was like something magical happened! My cuticles were soooooo soft! I have never experienced that! They even smelled amazing after so many hours! I am truly amazed by this cuticle oil. I take it everywhere with me! It really works wonders.

Here is my before picture. This was before filing my nails and cleaning my cuticles. So yeah my nails look pretty nasty here haha.

This is the after picture. I filed my nails and cleaned my cuticles. Lets take a moment to just look at how AMAZING my cuticles look! They look so healthy and soft!

Overall I highly suggest you check out Rica's shop and take a look at all the different items listed in there especially these shown above!

Bliss Polish - It's All Fun and Games Collection

Hiiii everyone!

Today I have the pleasure of showing you some swatches of the upcoming It's All Fun and Games Collection by Bliss Polish. I'm so thrilled about this collection because it's so beautiful!
These polishes were sent to me for reviewing purposes.

This collection is set to release August 21st at 10am PST!!!

My first polish ever purchased from Bliss Polish was "The New Black" an orange polish from the OITNB collection! I have fallen in love with every polish I own from this brand! They are so creamy and I noticed that the nail polish scent isn't too strong! That's definitely a plus!

Now onto the swatches, because we all know that's what we are here for!

First up I have 'She's A Winner' and I really do think she's a winner! This is a gold holographic polish. Of course, holos are my favorite. Everywhere I went I had to look at my nails and admire the beauty. The holo is so vibrant and visible. On my nails it appears a bit pale but it's actually a bright gold polish, similar to the third picture.

I don't think you're ready for this jelly! This is 'Friday Night Fun' a multi chrome flakie topper that also consists of gold flakes and spectraflair. This was so tough to capture. My pictures really don't do it justice. The flakes are sooooo beautiful! Especially that extra hint of holo!

Quick reminder, this is a topper so if you want it to be opaque you'll need to sponge it on a couple of times.

Next on the list is 'Game Face' I feel like these next two polishes were created by a magical dragon. My boyfriend even said "I really like your polish, I like the dirty look". He never compliments my polish so I'll take it! haha Even if he doesn't know that the "dirty look" are actual super awesome flakies.

This polish is light pink with green shimmer and multi chrome flakies. I swear I have never seen such a beauty! It's the perfect combination of flakies and shimmer.

Last but not least is 'Thirsty', a dusty blue with multichrome flakies. This polish is a beauty! I could not stop staring at my nails! I honestly think I need backups of this collection and I rarely get backups of anything!

The last two pictures make the blue appear a lot brighter than it really is. I would say the macro is more color accurate but my lighting (or skin tone) made it seem a bit brighter.

This whole collection is amazing! The application was very smooth and easy to apply. The anniversary trio is also being released this Friday! Make sure to follow @blisspolish on instagram for updates and swatches of that collection!

Don't forget these polishes release August 21st at 10am PST! at blisspolish.com

Until next time,

Stardust Polish (Sneak Peek) Upcoming Release

Hello everyone!

Today I bring you a super mega sneak peek of Stardust Polish upcoming release of Fall colors!!
You can choose to keep reading or just skip to the fun stuff. haha.

I'm beyond excited  about this because they are all sooooooooooo beautiful! I haven't written a blog post about Stardust polish in a while so I figured today would be the day. This is definitely a treat for you all. All four polishes are soon beautiful and unique! You'll definitely be drooling over them.

These fall polishes were named after Drema's 4 nieces. Two are holos and two are cremes. I have seen Drema create the most AMAZING holo. She has also created a couple of cremes (that I don't own) and they also look great!!..but I honestly feel like she really outdid herself with these 4 polishes. Like I said, they are very unique!

The polishes will release August 20th at 7pm EST!!!
https://www.etsy.com/shop/StardustPolish

First up I have Caroline, she is a beautiful black linear holo polish with purple/blue duochrome micro glitter.

This polish is opaque in 2-3 coats. I prefer doing 3 coats but that's just because I like to.

It somewhat reminds me of the sky and the stars!

Chloe, is also another beautiful holo. She is a vibrant red linear holo with gold tones.

I honestly think this polish looks like christmas wrapping paper. It's so prettttttyyyyyy! I want it to be christmas already so I can do a lot of christmas manis with this polish haha. I mean look how bright it is!! Can't stop staring!

This polish was opaque in 2 coats but I used 3 :)

Meet Sophie, a deep burgundy creme with intense indigo flash.

I mean seriously, look at it! It's the perfect combination! If you plan on driving make sure you wear gloves because you'll be too distracted looking at the shimmer. Once I applied topcoat the polish had such a beautiful gloss to it. It felt like I was wearing fake nails..the pretty kind haha.

Last but not least, my favorite from the bunch...Cosette! She is a mauve pink with violet shimmer. Anything that is within the blue spectrum or that reminds me of raspberries is automatically my favorite. This polish really does remind me of raspberries..shimmery raspberries? haha Depending on the lighting you will notice it looks a bit dark. I think that happens with every polish. Overall, it's beautiful.

I HIGHLY recommend (if you can) purchasing all 4 polishes. They are just so beautiful and very unique! Which one was your favorite? Don't forget they release August 20th at 7pm EST!
P.S. Be on the look out for part 2 coming next month!

Until next time,

Karen (minipolishh)
