Stardust Polish- November Releases

Hello everyone!

Here is another wonderful collection that will be releasing on November 13th! If you're not part of the Stardust Polish Facebook group or part of the Stardust Polish Newsletter then I high recommend you get on it! Stardust Polish will be releasing 5 new polishes this month. There is a bit of everything in this release holo, shimmer, crelly! (BTW my laptop will sometimes autocorrect crelly to cruelly) 

This first polish is called Water Lilies, a teal crelly filled with various shape and size purple and garnet glitters. This reminds me so much of Monsters Ink, Sully. It is such a beautiful polish. Drema definitely made me fall in love with crellies!

Next up is Poppies, a medium pink creme with slight gold shimmer. This is a bright pink polish. It definitely is something different from your usual dark fall/winter polishes. The gold shimmer adds such a sweet effect! It is more visible in person :D

Stardust, a light dove grey linear holo with purple flash. I seriously was staring at my nails for the longest time just looking at the amazing shift of color. Check out the third picture it's a lot more accurate. That holo, that shift, that color! All so amazing!

Now for the holos, this is Medusa a wine color holo and gold shimmer polish. I cannot get enough of this! It's so beautiful! At first I though it looked like a couple others I have in my stash. Once I swatched it I was amazed at how different it was. The gold shimmer changes the look of the polish and gives it a slightly different tone of purple.

Lastly is Starry Night, an Indigo (leans both purple and blue depending on the lighting) linear holo with a bit of copper shimmer and a dusting of micro fine holo glitter for extra sparkle. I think I am getting repetitive here but as I am staring at these swatches I fall more and more in love with how amazing each polish is. The holo glitter adds a good unf to the look of this polish. Once again, another unique polish.

Rica Polish: Marie Antoinette Collection

Hello everyone!

I haven't written a blog post in a very long time. As I was posting some swatches on instagram I figured I would quickly review them and share more pictures here.

Today I will be sharing with you the most recent collection by Rica Polish. This is the Marie Antoinette Collection. This collection includes 5 unique polishes. Links will be provided throughout the post. The swatches are in no specific order. :D 

First up is Versailles, a gold microglitter polish. This polish does dry textured and I used 2 coats of Seche Vite topcoat for a smooth finish. Application was so easy! I did not struggle at all while applying it. 

Next is Marie Antoinette, a lilac crelly with ultra chrome flakies! Application was super smooth. It was opaque in 2-3 coats. The macro shot shows a more accurate look of the flakies. It's perfect!!

 Let Them Eat Cake, is a soft white crelly with gold flakes, tiny holo gold glitters and bronze shimmer. This took a bit more coats to reach opacity 3-4 depending on how you apply the polish. I swear if I ever get married this is the polish I will probably wear. It's so beautiful and makes my nails feel fancy!.

 Madame Deficit, a black holographic polish packed with various ultra chrome flakies. The flakies stand out more in person. This is definitely a different polish than your usual black holo. I like that the flakies add a different look to it! 

 Last but not least, Viva La Revolution, a medium blue holographic polish with ultra chrome flakies, tiny metallic red/silver holo glitters and red shimmer. This polish dries semi-textured. The texture does not bother me at all. With an extra layer of topcoat you won't even notice that it is a bit textured.

Short Review- Flower Nail Stud & Diamond Glitter

Hello everyone!

I have lost track of how many of these I have done but i'm finally back with a new short review! This review will feature TWO different manis and TWO different products. For my first mani I honestly had NO idea on what I wanted to do. I literally grabbed a bunch of items off my desk and some polishes off my shelves and started doing something I thought would hopefully look good.

I really like this flower, it's cute but it's also big. I recommend if you want to use it for a longer wear to stick it on with nail glue. I used Seche Vite to keep it on for a couple of hours but I also had to be EXTRA careful with everything I did.

These 3D flower studs come in a variety of colors such as, green, pink, mint, red, black, etc. They are currently on sale for .99 cents USD for 5 flowers! I think they look great as an accent nail. 5 on one hand might be too overwhelming :D

I thought I would be able to conquer glitter placement. It just looks so easy when everyone else does it. So this was definitely a NAIL FAIL. I cannot do glitter placement to save my life haha The different sizes, the small shapes, the cutting, nope..nope..nope..can't do it.

For this mani I used:

• Sinful Colors: Snow Me White
• NYC Strip Me Off Base Coat

Overall, I will definitely be using the 3D flowers studs again. The diamond glitter was soooo hard to use but I will try my best to do a mani with the glitters. Glitter placement just takes a lot more time and patience which I don't think I have haha.

Nails Redesigned Vinyl and Mani Bomb Review

Hello everyone!

I have been sucking this month with blog posts but I have soooo much to share, new brands, new polishes, new everything! But first...Lets talk nail vinyls! Who doesn't love them? They are so much fun and so easy to work with. I think they are just great for easy nail art! I remember when I first tried nail vinyls and I had no idea what a topcoat was. Every time I applied them I would peel off the polish because I never used a topcoat. I HIGHLY recommend you use a fast drying topcoat such as SecheVite or HK Girl.

This is my second review of Nails Redesigned you can find the first one HERE. Like always, most of the items shown here will have direct links. Nails Redesigned has a new website and a NEW hand care line called Calm Your Tips Hand Care. Super creative name right?!

I also apologize ahead of time I forgot to jot down which polishes I used. I will try my best to remember them though.

Ok! Shall we start? For this mani I used these square swirls that I could not find a link for. These were so easy to use! 

I think I have said this before but it's best to sponge on the polish than to just paint over the vinyls. This way it is least likely to leak through and mess up your base.

• China Sun of a Peach

These vinyls were probably one of my favorites from the pack. There is so much you can do we these! You can make each diamond a different color, all one color, or a gradient like I did!

• China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle

For this mani I used:

• Vinyl, Heart Stencil
• NCLA Redicalist 

For this mani I used:

For this mani I used:

This is part of the Hand Care line. This Mani Bomb smelled AMAZING!! I swear when I opened the packaged that's all I could smell. The mani bomb was pretty hard to remove from the baggy so I ripped it open and it went flying. It hit my countertop then bounced and landed on the floor. Did it break? NOPE! It was still in tact after it went flying! I'm impressed

I did not take a picture of my nails because they looked a bit beat up but they smelled amazing afterwards and my cuticles were soft and the blue stains around my nails from a previous nail polish were gone. My favorite part was seeing how milky the water looked after the mani bomb dissolved. 

This is after it hit my table and the floor! No dents!
